"I have no special talents, I am only passionately curious."

I'm Nicole, the face behind Coco Photo.

For as far back as my memory serves, I have had the unwavering desire to document for the purpose of remembering. This started as soon as I could write, through journaling and then story-telling, and eventually through photography. I have to give credit to the days of MySpace and Tumblr (iykyk), which motivated me to earn money through mowing, babysitting, lifeguarding and working in the dreaded corn fields to finally purchase my own DSLR camera and gear. I wanted to remember everything about my teenage years -- where I went, with whom I spent it, and exactly how it made me feel.

Fast forward to 2023, I quit my career in healthcare to stay home full time with my first baby. Photography popped back up in my life as a way of celebrating motherhood. As the mom of two strong-willed little girls, I not only understand but am living in the growth of maternity, the tenderness of newborn moments, and the chaotic yet unbreakable bond of siblings and parenthood. I'm watching in awe as all the cliches become instantaneously true, and now more than ever understand how truly fleeting these moments are.

So let me help you capture them! As a mom, daughter, sister, friend, and aunt [Auntie Coco :)] I'm here to get to know you -- who you are, what matters to you, and what you want to remember.

We're not just taking photos, we're keeping time.
